Ah, the unpredictability of live music. It’s one of those things that keeps the nightlife scene so thrilling, even when things don’t go exactly as planned. Let me take you through Thursday night that had all the makings of a chaotic misadventure but ended on a high note.

First, let me offer my apologies. Due to my own oversight, I had announced that Face for Radio would be playing at Flagstone, confusing them with another band, Face 4 Radio. Yes, there are indeed two bands with such similar names, and yes, I got them mixed up. My bad.

So, with a bit of excitement and a dash of confusion, I arrived at Flagstone ready to see Face 4 Radio. But the stage was empty. Turns out, Face 4 Radio was a no-show. Slightly deflated but still in high spirits, I grabbed a quick drink and decided to make the best of the night by heading over to Northland to catch Dom Mueller.

Northland, however, had its own surprise in store. Dom Mueller was also a no-show due to a promotional company mishap. At this point, the night could have felt like a series of unfortunate events, but I wasn’t ready to give up yet.

Back at Flagstone, I heard that Take 2 Acoustic band was stepping in to save the night. So, I made my way back, hoping for a turn of good fortune. As the guys set up, the energy started to shift. The weather was perfect, the crowd began to buzz with anticipation, and soon enough, Take 2 Acoustic brought the tunes to the patio.

From the first strum of the guitar, it was clear this night was about to take a turn for the better. Take 2 Acoustic delivered another great performance. Their smooth harmonies and engaging presence quickly won over the crowd. People were dancing, singing along, and genuinely enjoying the impromptu concert.

The Flagstone Patio transformed into a lively haven of music and camaraderie. Despite the rocky start, the night turned into one of those unforgettable evenings where everything just clicks. The band played with passion, the service was top-notch, and the weather was cooperative.
