If you weren’t at Green Bay Distillery this past Saturday, you missed a masterclass in soul, grit, and pure Wisconsin energy. I spent my weekend chasing the music, starting with an intimate set by Scott Kirby at Lyon’s Lounge before heading over to Green Bay to catch his full band, Tennessee Whiskey Revival.
Let me tell you, Scott is as genuine as they come. We had a great time talking shop, and seeing him transition from a solo vibe to fronting this powerhouse of a band was incredible. These guys aren't just "another tribute band." We’re talking about a group of seasoned, professionally groomed musicians who have been respected in the scene for years. They debuted in 2025 with a singular mission: to capture the magical essence of Chris Stapleton, and man, do they deliver.
The energy was electric. They brought a blend of rock, bluegrass, soul, and folk to the stage that stayed true to Stapleton’s originals while adding their own heartfelt solos and soulful energy. It’s fresh, it’s forward, and it’s exactly what the Green Bay nightlife scene needs. If you haven't put Tennessee Whiskey Revival on your "must-see" list yet, consider this your official wake-up call!
