Saturday night, Thirst Bar & Grill in Menasha was the place to be. The venue was celebrating its 1-year anniversary, and the party energy hit you right at the door (if you could even find a parking spot first). After doing three laps around the block like a NASCAR pit crew looking for a space, I finally tucked in and made my way toward the sound of pure rock bliss.
Inside, the place was packed. Wall-to-wall people, drinks flowing, and laughter echoing over the buzz of excitement. On stage — Jet Pack Stereo — already firing on all cylinders. These guys know how to light up a room. Their setlist swung from high-octane pop-rock covers to funky dance-floor hits that pulled even the shy dancers off their stools.
Jet Pack Stereo has been tearing up the Wisconsin music circuit for a while, earning a reputation for turning ordinary nights into instant parties. With killer guitar work, tight harmonies, and just the right amount of stage antics, they nailed it from start to finish.
Thirst really knows how to throw a party. Between rounds of giveaways, cold drinks, and a crowd that never stopped moving, the night felt like one big family reunion — just with louder music and cooler lighting. I ran into a ton of familiar faces, and even met a few new ones, all there to celebrate one of Appleton's favorite hangouts doing what it does best — great vibes, great people, and great live music.
If you’re looking for live events near Appleton WI or just things to do in Appleton on a Saturday night, keep an eye on Thirst’s event lineup. Nights like this are exactly why Wisconsin’s live music scene keeps growing.
