Saturday the 8th hit, and I was on the hunt for something fresh—specifically, a band I hadn't seen live yet. When I saw that Listening Party was playing at Ledgestone Vineyards, my curiosity was piqued. I had been out to the vineyard once a while back, so I thought it would make for a great afternoon out.
We headed out, packed a couple of chairs, and made our way to the grounds. If you haven't been lately, Ledgestone Vineyards is truly a beautiful venue. They have a spacious, open lawn area right up by the main building, completely surrounded by scenic vineyard rows.
You can really tell they've been expanding—they’ve added even more patio space, plus a brand-new building that looks to be able to serve beer from soon! We grabbed a bottle of Cab for about $50, set up our spot on the lawn, and settled in for the music.
As we kicked back on that sunny day, Listening Party took the stage and delivered a fantastic set. Their folk and Americana-steeped sound expertly and reverently takes the pulse and traditions of their genre while adding their own unique charm.
Their energy fit the vineyard vibe perfectly, keeping the crowd engaged and bringing the whole atmosphere to life. It was another memorable Wisconsin day filled with local music, fine wine, and great vibes
