So, Friday night at Thirst Bar & Grill in Greenville almost had a major hick-up moment. The scheduled act was hit with a cold and had to cancel at the last minute. But honestly? The universe came through because Chris Hodgman drove up from Milwaukee to save the night, and he absolutely understood the assignment.
I’d never seen Chris before, but he’s low-key a legend for stepping in like that. From the second he started, you could tell he wasn't just there to play background noise. The guy has a top-tier sense of humor and spent the whole night interacting with the crowd. It wasn't just a concert; it was like hanging out with that one friend who happens to be cracked at music.
He brought a massive energy to the room that turned a potential "L" of a night into a total core memory for the crowd. Whether he was cracking jokes between songs or getting people involved, the charisma was great. Thirst Bar & Grill was on point as usual, keeping the drinks flowing while Chris kept the energy high.
I’m staying neutral and letting you decide if his sound is your aesthetic, but in my opinion, he did a great job. I’ve got the photos and video clips below so you can check out his performance for yourself. If you’re looking for things to do in Greenville or scouting the local nightlife, keep an eye out for Chris Hodgman—Milwaukee definitely sent us one of their best.
