Man, if you weren’t at Waverly Beach Saturday night, you missed one for the Menasha nightlife books! InferRed hit the stage for their final show, and the energy in that ballroom was electric. I’ve seen packed shows before, but it’s been a good minute since I’ve seen Waverly this alive — bodies moving, drinks clinking, smiles everywhere, and that familiar pulse of Wisconsin rock echoing across Lake Winnebago.
InferRed didn’t just perform; they owned the stage. The band’s mix of driving rock vocals, ripping guitar work, and tight rhythms kept the crowd hooked from start to finish. You could feel the years of chemistry between these musicians — the kind of connection that only comes from countless nights on local stages.
What really made the night special was the show of support from other area musicians. It felt like a hometown reunion — folks from the Fox Valley music scene came out to cheer, sing along, and celebrate what InferRed has meant to the community. That’s the beauty of this scene: it’s not just about the bands, it’s about everyone showing up for each other.
When the final notes hit, and the lights went warm and dim, there was that bittersweet buzz in the air — the kind you get when something great ends, but you just know the next chapter’s already being written. These guys are too talented to hang it up for good; we’ll be seeing them pop up in new projects soon.
Thanks, InferRed, for a hell of a sendoff. You left it all on the stage — and we all felt it.
