Cole Boz at Bridge Bar Fremont

Cole Boz Band at Bridge Bar Fremont

See the over 129 photos -Photo Gallery - Got home from work on Friday and the family was ready for some dinner. We decided we wanted to enjoy the weather and possibly listen to some music. Mile of Music sounded good but we were not sure we could get our teen daughter in. We thought about jumping on the boat but were not sure about the weather. So the next best thing is sitting next to the river and watching the Wolf River boaters at the Bridge Bar in Fremont. I have been coming to the Bridge Bar since I was a small kid. To me, it is always good to come back here. I also have a lot of respect for Steve the owner, He has always been so nice and he is always working hard behind the bar as well as keeping the Bridge a place people are always happy to come to. It is a small drive about 20 minutes from the Fox Valley. We left and the weather looked iffy. But the closer we got to Fremont the weather started getting better. We got to the Bridge and the place was already pretty slammed. But we found a tab towards the back of the patio. We sat for a few minutes and our waitress Britney came over sat down with us and told us what specials they had for the night. She got us set up with drinks and recommend some apps. We all agreed that the waitress was fun and awesome! She did a fantastic job the whole night. The food was good, drinks were good, service was fantastic, and hanging out on the patio watching boats go by and listening to live music made for a great night! Cole Boz was the entertainer for the night. The bridge really does a great job of getting bands almost every weekend. Just a reminder of how I need to get back out to the Bridge Bar a lot more. I hope you enjoy the photos! See all the photos - Photo Gallery

Pier 5 in Fremont Wi

We stopped into Pier 5 in Fremont for our boaters get together. We had a group of 13 people. We were able to get a reservation. We got to the restaurant a little early and stopped at the bar. The bartenders did a great job getting all the drinks in a timely manner. The bartenders pour seemed generous and they were friendly. Our waitress came and sat us down on one of the large tables in the back. Service was friendly and they did a great job taking care of us. I had the bluegill platter. My wife had the whiskey river pork chop. Which seemed to be the highlight on our end of the table. The guests on the other end of the table commented that the highlight was a Garlic Parsley Covered Tenderloin. It looked very tasty.

It was nice to see the Wolf River flowing. Even with a few ice chunks, it did give us a little hope that the boating season is getting closer. Overall we had a good night. Unfortunately, we had someone run into our car in the parking lot. So I guess next time we will need to bring the boat. We also made a stop to the Bridge Bar and grabbed a quick drink.
