Cole Boz at Bridge Bar Fremont

Cole Boz Band at Bridge Bar Fremont

See the over 129 photos -Photo Gallery - Got home from work on Friday and the family was ready for some dinner. We decided we wanted to enjoy the weather and possibly listen to some music. Mile of Music sounded good but we were not sure we could get our teen daughter in. We thought about jumping on the boat but were not sure about the weather. So the next best thing is sitting next to the river and watching the Wolf River boaters at the Bridge Bar in Fremont. I have been coming to the Bridge Bar since I was a small kid. To me, it is always good to come back here. I also have a lot of respect for Steve the owner, He has always been so nice and he is always working hard behind the bar as well as keeping the Bridge a place people are always happy to come to. It is a small drive about 20 minutes from the Fox Valley. We left and the weather looked iffy. But the closer we got to Fremont the weather started getting better. We got to the Bridge and the place was already pretty slammed. But we found a tab towards the back of the patio. We sat for a few minutes and our waitress Britney came over sat down with us and told us what specials they had for the night. She got us set up with drinks and recommend some apps. We all agreed that the waitress was fun and awesome! She did a fantastic job the whole night. The food was good, drinks were good, service was fantastic, and hanging out on the patio watching boats go by and listening to live music made for a great night! Cole Boz was the entertainer for the night. The bridge really does a great job of getting bands almost every weekend. Just a reminder of how I need to get back out to the Bridge Bar a lot more. I hope you enjoy the photos! See all the photos - Photo Gallery

Running up the Wolf River

Wolf River - Partridge Lake in Fremont

See all the photos on our PHOTO GALLERY. A beautiful sunny day going up the Wolf River with some awesome friends.  We started off in Oshkosh at the Pioneer Marina and stopped at the Fin N Feather in Winneconne to get some food & drink.  With the Sand Bar Bash going on we got see allot of boat traffic heading to Lake Butte Des Morts.  We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the river and boats going by.  We than headed up river to Partridge Lake.  We tied up and worked on our tans.  After a few hours we decided it was time to get some diner.  The group decided we should go to Jimmy's Whitehouse Inn on Lake Butte Des Morts.  We got lucky and found a spot to dock on the Tilly's Too dock.  Of course, we had to stop into Tilly's too to have a few drinks. We always get a kick out of this place. We ran into a bunch of fun people. Some with amazing crocs! We finally started getting hungry so off to Jimmy's we went. About a block and half walk from Tilly's.  Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had blackened Salmon and a brandy alexander so good! Back on the water heading into Oshkosh we noticed a boat had sunk in front of the docks at Rainbow Park in Oshkosh. I have to admit it was very creepy.  One light was still on under water. Hopefully everyone is ok.  We heard there was an accident by the 41 bridge?  Not sure if this is the boat or not.
