The 2025 Sand Bar Bash absolutely lived up to its legend—sunrise start, perfect anchoring, and by noon the sandbar had transformed into a floating festival. Thanks to an early ride from my friend Kathy (MVP for getting us there and making sure nobody went hungry), we snagged a spot before the crowd stormed in.

The energy soared as more boats rafted together, swapping stories, snacks, and plenty of laughs. Boat stories (the kind that get better every year) and new dance moves were traded across decks while new friendships quickly formed. The highlight: Roadtrip rocking the floating stage, everyone singing the national anthem during a perfectly timed flyover (goosebumps!), and people of all ages waving flags with the Wisconsin summer breeze.

This was more than just a party—a day of live music, community spirit, and raising money for veterans, packed with classic Lake Winnebago moments like floaties, cannonball contests, and the bratwurst trade with the boat next door.

A huge congratulations to Zack, Melissa, and their entire crew for making Sand Bar Bash 2025 such an epic event and for their hard work and generosity in giving back to our veterans!
