Octoberfest in downtown Appleton was a hit this year! I headed down Friday night to catch the car show and the live tunes from FBI & The Untouchable Horns—and let me tell you, the whole event didn’t disappoint.
The car show stretched from Lawrence University all the way to Memorial Drive, with more stunning cars than ever. It was wall-to-wall automotive eye candy, showcasing everything from classic hot rods to muscle cars that made you nostalgic for the golden age of American horsepower. If you’re a car lover, this was your night to drool over some serious beauties.
As we walked up to Houdini Plaza, FBI & The Untouchable Horns were already rocking the stage. This 10-piece ensemble brought their signature horn-infused sound, playing hit after hit from the past four decades. Their energy was infectious, and they had the crowd grooving all evening. You just can’t help but get into it when these guys are on stage—they’re the Fox Valley’s premier horn band for a reason!
As the evening went on, we enjoyed some tasty eats from the food trucks, checked out more classic cars, and caught up with friends while soaking in the lively atmosphere. The weather was perfect for an outdoor festival, and the entire experience had that laid-back, summer night vibe you can’t get enough of.
Of course, I snapped plenty of photos and videos for you to relive the night with me. If you didn’t make it out this year, don’t worry—Appleton’s Octoberfest will be back, bigger and better as always. Make sure to put it on your radar!
